SERVICES
Every instrument in my workshop is custom made by hand, taking all demands and expectations into consideration. I combine traditional handworking techniques with modern technological innovations. Every instrument takes individual planning, and I use only the best materials to make them in my workshop.
Instrument Repair
I take commissions for repairs and restoration of low and high value violins, violas, cellos and double basses, and I also do bow rehairing.
I am happy to help every customer with low and high value instruments with repairs, restorations and setups of violins, violas, cellos, double basses, as well as bow repairs and bow rehairing and smaller repairs of guitars. I very much welcome double basses as well, I have been maintaining the double basses for the Music Academy in Budapest.
Instrument Making
I've been making my instruments for over 45 years from carefully selected, naturally dried and aged wood. I also make custom instruments on demand.

I prefer making instruments specifically for order, so I can take all the requests of the customer into consideration, and make the instrument they wish for, both in form and in sound.
Instrument Rental
I have a wide variety of instruments from different sizes and price categories with bows and cases to lend out for students for short or long time periods at an affordable price.
Some of my violins, violas and cellos that I have repaired and set up correctly with the proper strings can be loaned out with cases and bows.
Instrument Selling
I am selling instruments from many different sizes and price categories. I only sell quality instruments that I can take warranty for.
I usually buy instruments if the owner has an instrument that requires repair, but ultimately doesn’t want to keep it, so I end up buying it, and then restoring it into a playable condition. I have instruments from all different sizes and origins, some of which can also be rented out. We also have a selection of bows for sale.

I am more than happy to give advice before you would decide for an instrument. If you are looking for something I don't have, I will help you find it.
The usability of an instrument doesn’t necessarily depend on the value of the instrument. Cheaper instruments can also achieve a good sound with the right settings and accessories.
